Issues & Solutions
As your State Assemblyman, I will hold Albany lawmakers accountable for these top three issues.
1
Crime and Safety
Today, we have criminals running rampant in all neighorhoods in NY. Our assembly and senate, along with our past and current governor, saw fit to give a free pass to criminals with cashless bail and defunding police resources, thus allowing offenders to continuously repeat the same crime without any fear of interruption. These radical politicians allowed, condoned and even aided these criminals to constantly commit these horrific crimes

2
Education
NY local and state funding for education is among the highest in the country, yet our schools are inundated with problems.
-
Parents are being told that budget cuts are going to negatively impact our schools.
-
Our education system is failing us as students graduate without the necessary skills and knowledge to compete in college and the workplace.
-
Our tax dollars are not reaching the children, those most deserving of our investment. Layers of administration deplete the funding.
-
Parents are prevented from having a say in what is taught in the classroom and controversial issues are emerging without regard to families.

3
Cost of living
We currently live in one of the highest taxed states in the country, yet our services received don’t meet our needs. Wasteful spending and irresponsible decisions based on political theatre are pricing us out of our homes. Mom and pop shops are being forced out of their livelihoods, often ending generations of family-owned businesses. Taxes taken out of our paychecks leave us little to live on. The bare minimum is what many of us are forced to face.
Rob's Solutions
1
Crime and Safety
Rob will vote to repeal the ill-fated bail reform laws as well as introduce change to the parole system so that murderers do not go free while their victims and their families will never be free from their actions. Rob will invest in our police and untie their hands from the senseless laws that negatively affect the police department, causing crime to soar at heights of epidemic proportions while impeding the safety of the public. By refunding the police, taking illegal guns off the streets, returning the bail process, and allowing judges greater discretion, we can make the street safe again.
2
Education
Rob will fight for more teachers and less administration in schools. We must ensure that all students get the programs and education that is geared toward them, not a blanket policy that doesn’t address individual students’ needs. Rob will fight to restore funding for vocational schools as well as advocate for the Specialized High School Test and the Gifted and Talented assessment. Today more than ever parents need to be partners with their schools, and should be allowed to prevent controversial issues to be taught to their children without consent. Rob vehemently opposes this and will fight for parents’ rights.
3
Cost of living
Rob will monitor the state budget and aggressively fight to eliminate wasteful spending and fraud. Ultimately, he will help return money back into the pockets of our NY residents where it belongs, as well as expose politicians who are less than forthcoming with spending policies.
